The Committee would like to invite new and moderate youth teams and individual players to compete in a set of evenings designed to bring the upcoming youth teams and players together. This is not designed as an elite youth set of tournaments, as a rule thumb any Youth currently not involved in the GB team pathways or below National Div2 standard is welcome.
If any club have only a few players who are eligible then please put these players forward and we will ensure that they are as much a part of the evening as any club based teams.
The evenings will be defined by those who attend all though it is likely to a mixture of games and walk through of training exercises that the players can take back to their clubs.
Experienced Coaches from our GB teams and Elite Youth peers will be at the event and aim to offer guidance, tips and advice to the teams, players and their managers.
All participants must be members of a British Canoeing registered club or hold personal BCU Membership.
The following three dates have so far been allocated, additional ones may be added depending on interest received.
- 12th December – Robinson – 17:30-21:30
- 23rd January – Cheltenham – 16:30 – 21:00
- 27th February – Derby – 17:00 – 21:30
If these dates aren’t viable for you please still return the form below so we can still no what interest is out there. To help encourage enough teams and participants we will charge £50 per a team or £10 an individuals which will be collected on the night. DEADLINE: Interest and attendance must be registered before 1st December 2015. If insufficient interest is registered these events will not go ahead.
