The national committee is opening a new yearly volunteer awards program, intended to:
- Recognise and celebrate outstanding volunteer contributions at all levels (grassroots, regional, national, international)
- Promote a culture of appreciation and community spirit.
- Increase visibility of the behind-the-scenes work that powers our sport.
For 2025, the award categories are:
- Grassroots Champion(s) – for club-level heroes
- Regional Impact Award – for significant contributions across clubs/a region
- Volunteer(s) of the Year – for outstanding effort and impact, regardless of level
- Young Volunteer of the Year – U25, for outstanding effort and impact
- Lifetime Contribution Award – for recognition of long-term 10+ year service and impact to the sport (Only to be presented when suitable).

Entries will close on the 14th of November, for review by a selection panel. Awards are anticipated to be made in December.
