Great Britain Development Opportunity: Invitation for Women in Canoe Polo
With the highest number of women and girls participating within its activities since its inception by this invitation those currently helping to support the academy are sufficiently enthused and ambitious to look even further to increase and encourage women and girls participation. With its greater capacity and within its resources the Collingwood venue give us the opportunity to accommodate and grow even further.
With that in mind we would like to invite women and girls 13 years onwards to come along and join in and sample some of the canoe polo activities on offer. The invitation is open to individual, club and university candidates who would like the opportunity to further progress and improve their game and ball skills. The academy weekends are mostly scheduled at the beginning of each month.
May 6-7th
June 3-4th
July 1-2 (TBC as it is also the Hull event)
August 4-5th
September 13-14th .
We would like to invite you to attend any of the designated weekends above to suit your own commitments. Further details will follow when and if interest is shown.
The normal cost to attend is a £40.00 weekend fee. The fee includes a carvery evening meal and overnight accommodation at a local scout hut.
As a taster and by way of encouragement we shall offer the first weekend at a cost of a £30.00 Fee.

It may take a year or two but if the numbers financially justify the committed interest then there is no reason why given time we cannot promote and accommodate a women’s only academy in its own right.
