The first Div 3 Central South West tournament of the season was held on 15 October at Cheltenham leisure centre. The season kicked of with newly promoted Celtic Warriors facing Bridgend. Leading 2-1 with two minutes to go it looked like a dream start to life in Div 3 for Celtic Warriors but Bridgend had other ideas and took the win with two late goals. This was a sign of things to come with a further seven games finishing with just one goal separating the teams and another two ending all square, suggesting it could be very close all season. Cardiff survived three close games to finish the evening top of the table with four wins out of four, closely followed by Celtic Warriors who recovered from their opening defeat to add three wins and a draw. The top goal scorer of the night was James from Celtic Warriors with 9 goals, followed by Dave from Cardiff with 7 goals and David from Aberfan with 6 goals.
